PRESSURE VESSELS &
HEAT EXCHANGERS
The penetration of Keyhole TIG means pressure vessels only need to be welded from one side, eliminating the safety risk of welders working from inside the vessel. This provides huge occupational health and safety benefits to the industry.
Other benefits include the substantial cost savings that flow from using the world-leading K-TIG technology. K-TIG produces high quality welds in less than one tenth of the time of traditional TIG welding, with no filler materials for welds up to 5mm thick. When filler material is required in thicker materials, it is a fraction of that used under traditional welding methods.
The quality of a K-TIG weld is a benefit for pressure vessels as less foreign materials are introduced. This reduces the chance of corrosion and increases the strength of the weld.
The K-TIG system greatly improves the quality of vessels manufactured, giving its users a major competitive edge in the market. K-TIG also dramatically improves productivity and cuts costs, improving profitability.
