ABOUT K-TIG

Keyhole TIG Limited (ACN 147 805 490) is a recently floated, public Australian company that owns various Australian and world patents in keyhole TIG welding and associated technologies. While the keyhole technology was originally developed by Dr Laurie Jarvis at CSIRO Australia, it is now wholly owned by Keyhole TIG Limited, aimed at commercialising this revolutionary technology to a global market.

The keyhole TIG welding process has been used by major organisations internationally as part of extensive product trials conducted by the CSIRO. These trials involved 10 major national and international product trial partners in five countries over five years.

Keyhole TIG Limited is now in the process of delivering to industry its K-TIG welding process. A “game-changing” technology, the K-TIG welding process is a much faster, cheaper, simpler and less energy-intensive alternative to standard welding processes.
